The PT1000 Thermostat is a simple controller equipped with a PT1000 temperature sensor, which regulates a heating system by switching the heater on or off through a relay, based on the set temperature and the measured actual temperature.

It has a wide range of possible applications, such as:

  • Wood-fired boiler control: Set the system so that when the boiler temperature exceeds 60°C, it activates the mixing pump.

  • Safety system: When the set temperature is reached, it can trigger an alarm, send a signal to another system, or switch off an electric heater, etc.

  • Heating system priority control: When the wood-fired boiler is running, it can prevent the gas boiler from starting.

The PT1000 Thermostat is a simple controller equipped with a PT1000 temperature sensor, which measures the temperature with a Pt1000 sensor and switches on and off a relay at the preset temperature by the potentiometer on the front of the device.

How to use:

1. Place the sensor where you would like to measure the temperature. (The sensor is equipped with a high heat resistant silicon cable which withstand 250 C heat). Cable can be lengthen up to 100m

2. Power up the device by 220AC / 5VDC power supply you received with the product.

3. Using a screwdriver, turn the START TEMP potentiometer on the front. (You will see the value changing on the display) Set the desired switching temperature for example 60 C

4. Connect the device output relay in normal closed or normal open position depending your application.

5. Push the TEST button on the front to test the relay switches on or off the device you would like to control.

6. When the temperature reached the preset temperature your device will be turned on or off.

Extra option: You can set a hysteresis with the second potentiometer on the device to fine tune your application.

APPLICATION AREAS

  • Wood-fired boiler control: Set the system so that when the boiler temperature exceeds 60°C, it activates the mixing pump.

  • Safety system: When the set temperature is reached, it can trigger an alarm, send a signal to another system, or switch off an electric heater, etc.

  • Heating system priority control: When the wood-fired boiler is running, it can prevent the gas boiler from starting.

What does it do?

A precise thermostat with a PT1000 temperature sensor that stays accurate and works well even with a long cable length for the sensor.
It doesn’t drift, doesn’t fail, and doesn’t make the temperature reading jump around.

Why is it good for installers?

  • You set it → it works.

  • No need for constant recalibration.

  • No “feels like it’s off by 5 degrees” issues.

  • Stable long-term → no callback, no customer complaints.
