What is this product?

This Modbus I/O module basically is an expander module. It’s useful in cases where, say, your PLC is running out of free I/O, but you have Modbus communication.

Why should I use this?

With this tool, you don’t need to replace the central PLC that is your entire control system, just add an expansion module like this one.

It can add 4 digital outputs per module to the existing ones, but also provides 4 inputs in addition.
The inputs can be digital or analogue (4-20mA / 0-10V)*, so you can basically add any industrial automation device to your processing unit.

This useful but simple tool gives you the possibility to add additional sensors, actuators, feedback lights to your existing project. Better still, you can install not just one, but several of these devices in the same project. This is because the device is addressable, so you can add up to 254.

*When ordering, you must select the type of input from a drop-down menu.

How to use this Modbus I/O module?

1. First choose the input that suits you best: analog input (4-20mA/0-10V) or digital input.
