This module is the central part of an HVAC system. The customer had us design and build it to control the speed of the fans. The control is based on input analog signals. The board is supplied with 230V AC, from which a THT transformer unit generates 24V DC. For this project we used a PIC24F microcontroller to run the control program. In short, based on the input signal, it decides which output should be activated on the module, thus controlling the speed of the fans.

It was important to the client that it could be mounted in an electrical cabinet on DIN rails and that the inputs/outputs were in the right place, so we chose the housing and layout to meet these criteria.
