Radio communication distinguishes the CTLG-08-R smoke and gas detector
The CTLG-08-R detector is equipped with a 433 MHz radio communication module. In this way, the alarm signal is transmitted to all CTLG-08-R detectors within the range of the radio connection(up to 100 m in open space).
The alarm is transmitted with a delay of approx. 10 s, first signalling on the sensor that has detected the threat and then on subsequent sensors, allowing the alarm to spread automatically throughout the building.
The radio connection does not require any configuration, it is sufficient for the CTLG-08-R detectors to be within range of the radio connection.
Purpose
The dual-purpose carbon monoxide and gas detector is used to detect dangerous levels of two substances-chad and methane.
Chad is produced by burning wood or coal in stoves/furnaces, burning gas in cookers or heaters. Its concentration in a room rises dangerously when a chimney or flue is damaged or blocked. Once it enters the body, it causes hypoxia, which can
can lead to poisoning or death. Methane, on the other hand, is the main component of natural gas (LNG). It is a colourless and odourless gas, lighter than air, and when mixed with air forms an explosive mixture.
When the limit for carbon monoxide or methane is exceeded, the detector reacts with an audible signal and an opticalsignal on the LCD display.
Device description
- The CTLG-08detector is used for continuous monitoring of the concentration of carbon monoxide (carbon black) and natural gas (methane) in rooms. It does not detect smoke or gases other than methane(it is not designed to detect LPG gas (propane-butane) from cylinders!)
- An acoustic and visual alarm is triggered when a hazard is detected
- Acoustic signalling ≥85 dB/3 m
- Alarm indications for methane >8.0% LEL* (4000 ppm*)
- Chad alarm indications: 30 ppm (alarm within 120 min), 50 ppm (alarm within 60-90 min), 100 ppm (alarm within 10-40 min), 300 ppm (alarm within 0-3 min)
- Power supply: 100÷240 V AC, 50 Hz
- Power supply: 3.6 V battery (18650 type)
